Rules of Admission
In order to be accepted in Caucasus School of New Cinema, one must fill out the form and go through the process of examination in a selected laboratory. All Materials have to be sent to: newcinema@cu.edu.ge. The deadline for documents is 9th of Sptember
Interviews are a final stage of examinations (After passing the competition of artistic works, each participant will be informed individually about the time and date of an interview). The interview is scheduled on 15th of September.
The entrant who will pass the competition successfully, must sign the contract and present the following documents to administraton office:
- Copy of passport;
- Copy of diploma / copy of a document of education (if any)
- 2 color photos (format 3х4)

A description of of an event or a happening that has influenced a participant (real, non-fictional story) / not exceeding 2 pages 3. Concept of short or full-length fiction film (description, characters, atmosphere, processes) / not exceeding 2 pages 4. Detailed scene from the film (description, characters, atmosphere) / not exceeding 2 pages 5. Review of one of the favorite films of participant / not more than one page 6. Self-portrait of the participant, a photo taken by his/herself (free form: "How I see myself") 7. Additionally you can present creative works (not obligatory): - Images taken by participant (not more than 9) - Video/Film shot by participant |

Concept of short or full-length fiction film (description, charachters, atmosphere, processes) / not exceeding 2 pages 4. An extract from the future script.The story should have a complete form, develop in the present time, no scenes from the past or the future, no sounds and titles behind video, the minimum number of dialogues (please write only what could later be turned into an Image) / not more than five pages 5. Review of one of the favorite movies of the entrant / not more than one page |
